Supporting contemporary arts and access to culture is central to the BNP Paribas Foundation’s cultural patronage. By working with a wide range of artists as well as the institutions that host them and disseminate their work, the Foundation supports contemporary dance and circus, as well as jazz. It also ensures that as many people as possible have access to culture.

Supporting contemporary creation and access to culture is central to the BNP Paribas Foundation’s cultural philanthropic activities. It also strives to be committed and to reflect values that we stand for, such as gender equality or combatting discrimination in all its forms.

Boldness, creativity, youth, accessibility and inclusion are the hallmarks of our cultural initiatives.

Since1984, BNP Paribas Foundation has supported more than 500 cultural projects:

Movement: French National Dance Centre; Hofesh Shechter; XY Company; Tatiana-Mosio Bongonga; etc.
Music: Anne Paceo; Ablaye Cissoko; Paul Lay; Laurent Coulondre; Airelle Besson; Baptiste Trotignon; etc.
Supporting access to culture: Previews for young adults at Paris Opera; Villa Medici; Hip-Hop Section at Turgot High School; etc.
