Projet Banlieues: vote to support your favourite association until 20 October!

Since its launch in 2006, Projet Banlieues has supported over 1,200 local associations that helped 1.2 million beneficiaries in France, and has led to the development of the “Progetto IncluCity” programme since last year in Italy.

The Projet Banlieues’ decision committee met to elect the 12 favourite associations from the 2024 call for projects. With over 1,000 applications and 147 associations newly supported, this 19th edition of Projet Banlieue was outstanding!

Projet Banlieues in brief

The role played by local associations is more necessary than ever in the fight against inequality and for a better way of “living together”.

These associations relentlessly work in the cities’ priority neighbourhoods to ensure equal opportunities and fight against every form of social exclusion. By their steady determination and continuous commitment, these associations make a difference. 

The 12 favourite associations for 2024

Access to education

AREA

The association fights for equal opportunities by supporting parents and children attending school in France whose mother tongue isn’t French, through linguistic and cultural workshops. 

Bay Chans La

The organisation (which name means “a chance for works with families and children from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to prevent learning and behavioural disorders to reach academic success and well-being.

D-Clic

The association aims to support and guide young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in their educational as well as career paths to help them cultivate positive attitudes and nurture vocations.

Le Sel de la Vie

The organisation offers free training to enter Medical Schools for high school and university students from modest and disadvantaged backgrounds.

Equal employment opportunity

ADRIE

The association promotes support towards employment for people who are furthest from the job market, to facilitate their social and professional integration through the recovery and reuse of objects as part of the ecological transition.

Ateliers de l’Audace

The organisation trains people who have been excluded from the job market to work in the bicycle industry through a personalised integration programme.

Cicérone

The association foster the professional reintegration of people who have lost touch with the job market, through the repair and sale of recycled bicycles and the promotion of soft mobility.

Konexio

The organisation aims to democratise access to digital skills for all, especially for those who are furthest from the job market.

Le Vieux Biclou

The association is committed to promoting cycling through various workshops such as repair, soft mobility, or introduction to mechanics ones.

Better way of “living together”

Mille sourires

The organisation aims to improve the living conditions of people in precarious situations by providing them with food, clothing and educational assistance.

Paris Tout P’tits

The association provides food and hygiene aid (infant formula, baby food, diapers, …) to underprivileged families with infants.

Rêv’Elle Toi

The organisation advocates the importance of women in working-class neighbourhoods through education, combating violence against women and promoting solidarity.

Until 20 October, cast your vote for this year’s top 3 favourite associations, and enable them to receive an additional grant of up to € 5,000.
